Lazy Click for Firefox Mobile
This is a very simple Firefox Mobile (Fennec) add-on. It’s purpose is to fix potential missed clicks by searching the adjacent area, and applying the click to the closest object that can accept clicks, for instance a link or a button.
Sometimes you don’t want to use your stylus or zoom in the page just to click a link. Tapping on the screen might actually apply the location of click to the wrong portion of the page, a few pixels away from the real target, because of the inherent imprecision of the fingertip when used on touchscreen surfaces.
LazyClick can catch these clicks, and scan the surrounding area for potential targets. If it finds one, it applies to the click to that element, saving the potentially wasted click and some frustration for the user.

If you have a mobile device that is supported by Firefox Mobile (a Maemo or Windows CE based smarthphone), then I’d be more than happy to hear from you about your thoughts on this add-on. Please leave a comment either here or on the Mozilla Add-ons page of the project. Thanks!
Special thanks to Attila Csipa!
LazyClick won the Firefox Mobile Add-on Challenge!
So this is not for desktop computer? No wonder I found it sometimes made me confused. I think if you make a little modefication, it will work well for desktop users.
When missed click is detected, you can move the cursor to the closest object that can accept clicks, and this add-on will save us a lot of energy and time.
Thanks again for your good work.
Actually LazyClick is compatible with desktop Firefox 3.6+ since version 0.8.
You can download and try it using the Add-on manager or the Mozilla Add-ons page.
